Why do we need a Modern-Orthodoxy
The conflicts between modernity and conservatism has neither beginning nor end. It has undergone very many interesting interpretations and imperatives throughout the eventful past. When it comes to us we personally are those who have a personal liking over grouping something as modern or archaic.
This categorisation moves from the very simple events and gestures of our everyday lives to complicated social policies and practices. Religions had been bloody over this endless dispute.
Neither conservatives and modernists are to be blamed it is the banality of the mass ought to be blamed. The conservative revolution of the 1918 was the seed ground for the flourishing of the Nazis in Germany. On the other hand, liberalisation paved way to the collective amnesia of the suffering majority who are outcast from the mainstream.
Grouping something as modern and traditional have a very strong extrapolation in the temporalities, situatedness and sitz im Leben of the common people. What is being considered old and archaic today was once considered as novel. It appears that we can't reduce and reserve anything under the banner of modernity for long.
What is new today is old by tomorrow's dawn and what is new in the dawn will be a common know how by dusk. Then the palpable question arises. What is new? Novelty is something yet to come, it is something yet to be achieved. It can neither be assumed nor deduced, it can only be felt and experienced with the passage of time. Therefore we ought to choose a rather synthesized path where all the ideas get convoluted and all the opposites get harmonized. It is in this merging takes the actual birth of the modern orthodoxy.
